Yeap~!!! Yesterday was the final of Chinese Society Singing Competition in MMU. Of course I sure went there to see how those finalists managed to get into final. Besides that, I also wished to know what and how is my quality compared to the finalists so that I could know my weaknesses and try to improve it.
Since there were 5 reserved seats for DJ Club, so I managed to get front seat and have better view. So, as usual the show started at 7.45pm instead of 7pm as mentioned earlier. It began with the performance of Fresh Bottle( a club under CLS which consists of those who are interested in composing, singing and playing musical instruments...I will join it too~!!!) They sang 3 songs which were composed by themselves. Not bad and indeed some of them in the club are really talented. After that, here we go with the first category which was the solo with 10 finalists. This time the sound system was much better than the preliminary. Therefore, they could sing and present well. After listening to some of them, I agree that they have their quality to be in the final especially Tze Min. Before that, heard many people said that she is good in singing and yesterday she really did well and of course she was the champion for solo part. This time I really respect her with a good vocal and indeed good looks. As for group, the 1 girl+2 guys group won it. The girl who was the vocalist did well too. My god, she was fabulous and did amaze most of the audiences. As for my friend Zhi Ching or C2, he and his partner sang the song by Guang Liang & Gary Chao-Shao Nian. I like the way they sang, niceee~!!! They were the first runner up for the group category.
So after all the performance by the finalists, there was a special person who became the special guest of the night. My roomie likes him very much but couldn't manage to attend to see her idol. The special guest was....NICK CHUNG, Zhong Shen Zhong~!!! He is really good-looking and even looks more charming in person. No wonder my roomie likes him so much. Nick sang the first song from his latest album which was 'Can You See Me'. All the audiences cheered and shouted for his name. The whole atmosphere was so high. My juniors and I also did some stupid cheering as well, haha. When I think about it, I also feel a bit embarrassed, hehe~!!! Next, he sang another song which I like the most - 'Tan Bai'. This song is really a nice one. After this song, Nick played a simple game with 4 selected audiences. 2 of my juniors, Hui Ting & QQ rushed up on the stage. GOSH...they really shocked me...so embarrassing, haha~!!! After this playing game section, Nick sang his last song of the night which was 'Tu Bian'. I never know that he can sing so well even LIVE. Add marks for that, haha. Fion my roomie, good taste huh, hehe~!!!
My roomie handed me Nick's album so I needed to get the signature from him. When the show ended, I quickly rushed to the autograph booth and after lots of obstacles, at last I managed to get it. Even managed to shake his hands and take pics with Nick, haha~!!! This really makes my roomie going insane when she knew about it. But I have tried my best to get your Nick's autograph so don't be frustrated already ok? So in conclusion, no regret attending this competition. Nice nice~!!!
