WOW…at last my big day is here which is my BIRTHDAY~!!! Yeah yeah yeah~!!! At first the whole Friday was damn boring because after my class at 12pm, Zepphians (Boon Chin, Fion, Shong Yong, Sean & Ivan) straight away went out. They didn’t allow me to go with them and asked me to stay at home for the whole day. So I just stayed at home & chatted with Grace using webcam.
When time was about 9.30pm, Fion came back and asked me to go over to Sean’s house. I knew that they would cook dinner for me but then didn’t expect that they needed the whole noon to prepare for it. Then when I stepped into his house, I saw a table decorated with few candles, few balloons hanging around etc. The whole house turned into a romantic place with the yellow lights. In short, it looked like a candle-light dinner, haha~! It was indeed with the soothing and romantic songs. I thought it would be just a normal dinner. Okay then, they served me with the starter which was TOM YAM SOUP & drinks which was blackcurrant~!!! Oooo…yummy, the soup was damn sour n spicy, I’m loving it~! :D Next was the main course which was Braised Chicken with Nyonya Chili Paste served with Mashed Potato and Vegetable. Wow, such a long name and you know what, they even prepared a menu for the dinner. That’s why I can name it out now, haha. Okay we go on with the desert which was the Thai Mango Salad and another drinks which was the Lemon Punch. Yummy…all were nice, seriously~!!!
After the dinner part, it was the present-giving time. They gave me 3 presents & told me that only one was the real present. The first one that I chose was…ahem *censored* (18SX)...hahaha~!!! Nothing to be mentioned about. The second was a so-called name tag with a dumb photo of mine on it and the third present was the ingredients of their cooking~!!! Aiyoyo… they played pranks on me~!!! Neither of those were real one but they said because of getting poorer these days, they didn’t buy any present so asked me to be considerate and hope that I wouldn’t mind. Then, they said wanna play some games so I just joined them and of course I lost in the first round. They said there would be a punishment since I lost and I was required to close my eyes. They said I need to taste the food that they provided as punishment. Honestly, I didn’t suspect anything but just sat there waiting them to punish me. Suddenly, I heard them singing ‘Happy Birthday’ with the accompaniment of keyboard and guitar. Once I opened my eyes, I saw Shong Yong with a cake on her hand while Boon Chin was playing keyboard and Sean was playing guitar. I forced myself not to cry but once they said ‘Emily…this is your real present…the KEYBOARD~!!!’, I was stunned for a moment and ended up…crying la, what else. Oh man, I never expected that they would buy me a keyboard as my birthday present. NEVER~!!! They remember I said before that I love composing songs and having a keyboard is easier since it is portable. We talked about this long ago but they still remember. It was really a surprise. Oh gosh, first time crying on my birthday because of too surprising~!!! Thanks a lot Zephhians for the lovely romantic candle-light dinner. Thanks for the funny pranks you all played on me and thanks for the surprising present that you all bought for me. This celebration was really a memorable and unforgettable one. Really don’t know what I can say about this. Thank you is the only thing I can say~!!! :)
As for my friends which include Grace, Samantha, Suzie, Shirley, Jeck Fei, Poh Chan, Yalini, Andrea, Chee Kit, Jackson, MK, Sher Lin, Ah Look, Ah Kin, Wai Hong, Ah Yong, Xiao Su, Yvonne, Siva...(the list goes on) & not forgotten my fellow DJssss who wished me, thanks a lot for remembering my birthday. Thanks a lot to Danny koko also for the wishes. Muaksssssssss to you all~!
